Stress and Anxiety

Stress and Anxiety are two different yet similar things and everyone has it but some people have more and others less. But before we ‘dive deeper’ let’s see what these two words mean :
 
Stress - a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances.
Anxiety - feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease about something with an uncertain outcome.
Now this may seem confusing but to confirm - they don’t mean that there is something wrong with you because these are just emotions not problems. Everyone feels anxious and/or stressed, it’s normal and can be different experiences for everybody. For some people it may come and go but for others it might happen regularly. If it does happen regularly then here are some ideas to help you out : (these won’t solve your problems so if you need to get professional help)
- Simply breathe for a minute and rest your heartbeat.
- Go to a quiet space and just listen to the silence
- Talk to someone you trust 
- Count to 20
-  Keep active and try to avoid caffeine
